A quick weekend getaway in steamy Bangkok.
The place is still bustling with activity, road side stalls selling yummylicious food, hot thai food, even hotter thai chicks (especially those in Uni Uniforms. hurhur =P) smoggy atmosphere, constant traffic jams, just the way i remembered it to be and the way i like it.
I was reaquainted with the best Pork belly soup i had ever tasted, which i have missed very much since 1.5 years ago when i first 'slurped' up two bowls. Even the auntie selling durians was still there with her machete and looking not too different from the way i remembered her to be.
Although i couldnt get to Wat Rakang due to some language problems/miscommunication, it was good to be able to visit Wat Suthat again and offer prayers while appreciating the majestic sight and artistry of Buddhist art, the temple and its surrounds.
Other then eating eating and more eating, besides praying, it was a good trip out shopping, especially checking out the Suan Lam Night Bazaar which is soooo MUCH better and easier to shop then the imfamously hot Chatuchak Weekend Market.=)

Isit a sign or another one of my funny dreams?
Just last night i had this dream whereby i was back in Melb.
However, most of the regular gang werent there in my dream, interestingly even one of my seldom seen Singporean childhood friend appeared in dreamy Melb.
I was happy to be back in Melb at that moment, to the extent that i had even slapped myself repeatedly to make sure i wasnt dreaming, slap slap slap! I didnt wake up and so i thought, wow! Kewl! i'm back here again.Quik! wheres the rest of the gang?
It was only slowly then i realised, oooh sheesh, i have to go Bangkok tmr! How am i gonna get back there? Silly dream it was, it didnt even end properly, all i could remember from that dream was how i tried to look for Alvin's number on the mobile but yet i couldn't. HoHum.

A Week Gone By
Another week has gone by and i'm loving my work more and more, the politics and inefficiencies might be there constantly but the feeling of having men under you and training and bonding with them with the passing of each day and event emits a sense of fulfilment that i struggle to describe.
Soon the first year Commanders would be Ord-ing (that means their National Service ends), i am gonna miss having great guys like Lawrence, Bingyao, Ywee Ern, well, the entire bunch is just great, unique individuals whom made up the Scout Platoon.
Going to have a short break this weekend away in Bangkok. More updates n fotos once i'm back!=0

Emergency.Numbers.

Deja Vu!
Last month or so, ZH's fone went dead on her, after admiring her N70 the other day, i was actually worried that my fone (7610) would somehow succumb to bad luck and get scrapped.
And indeed it has, my fone went dead on me on friday, it couldnt have happened at a 'better' time, my contacts, the dates stored within the calender, the numerous messages from dearest friends, all gone. =(
Just sent in the fone for repair, finger's crossed it's repairable so i may trade it in for a new fone that i've been pinning for (but not financally willing to buy). *bleh.

El Cheapo Tactic #235

I've gotten my Credit card annual fees waived. Mwahahahha.=P
But then again, with the credit card market being so competitive, they can't be seriously thinking that people would willingly pay annual fees when other banks/cards are offering free cards/platinum cards at random right? kekeke
Consumer power shall dictate that credit card fees should be a thing of the past.
Holler if you're made to pay those fees!
