For someone who's jaded with Birthday Celebrations, tired of friends getting the Birthday boy/girl sloshed.I had an excellent evening earlier with the gang celebrating Jeremy's 23rd.
A delicious dinner at Pacific House, extravagant dining with us ordering one steamed fish.=P (for students, its pretty darn splurging lah.)

followed up dinner with drinks at ivan's, had a great time drinking.not out to get drunk/high but leisure drinking, the way it should be.
Chillout with friends, enjoying each other's company with drinks to go around.= )
...Comtemplating if i should go for God's Kitchen. But then i have the run the next morning, the 'mad physical nut' me thinks i can probably do both.
Which i am so tempted to try.

Good Mornington Penisula!

I just found myself surfing around, (And not doing work) stumbled upon Project Superstar and i realised that i have effectively missed out on two Singaporean TV Singing Contests, Singapore Idol won by Tau-Pok and right now, Project Superstar.
arghhhh!
Makes me miss my Sing-till-U-lose-Your_voice days.
Days when singing made my day brighter.
i miss the days when me and hongda would just pop into Kbox or whatever K-okie place and sing our sorrows away!
The times at east coast, drinking and singing with Jimmy and Tan Keng Hong.=P
Come to think of it, its just divine, Singing, Drinking in the midst of Friends.
How's that for a 3-hit COmbo (CHAICHAICHAI) of pure pleasure?

I hope that everyone that chances upon this post, say a little prayer (doesn't matter which kind) for all those whom have been affected by nature's wrath in one way or another.
A prayer too for the many rescue workers working out there, may they be protected while they undertake the task of saving others.
The world is indeed going crazy... diasters after another besiege us.
I need to read Revelations, someone hand me a copy...
let us all hold our dear ones close to us, in person or in mind, as we say a prayer for the less fortunate.

Friday night, what do you do?
Its the beginning of the weekend. All of us long for this day, it motivates us during the week, seeking to release ourselves from the trappings of work.
Some people drink themselves numb.
Some of us go watch a movie.
Some of us meet up with friends over dinner.
Some will do coffee or shopping.
while some of us drink to forget, some drink to celebrate.
Some of us cry while some of us laugh heartily at life itself.
Some of us enjoy the food and company, others just want to finish dinner as soon as they can.
There is a certain logic in how everything comes to be.
Yet there is no logic capable of comprehending human behaviour.
