Lately i've been addicted to facebook so i've not been blogging..getting lesser inspirations to blog nowadays, at one point i was thinking i probably stop blogging coz after all i've returned from studies and that was the original purpose of this blog. =)
But looking back at the entries i had, i can't even bear to entertain that thought any longer.
I've been meeting up with friends, feeling happy Xmas shopping and anticipating my birthday, which was last week.
Spent a few days on leave thereafter and did my routine visits to the temple for prayers, SLS for latest gadgets and looksee, caught up with some of the guys whom orded and the weekend went by quietly with the help of D Gray Man and Heroes.
Another few weeks and it'll be the end of the year 2007.
Peppered with the holidays thats coming soon, i'm really reflective on how the year has went by and i'm gonna do a pondering kinda post before the year closes for 08. Set some targets and goals, resolutions as well.

I'm in a December and Xmas kinda mood!
Ho ho Ho!
Its the time of the year again, i've always loved Dec.
A time of the year whereby work kinda slows down to a really comfortable pace, the festivities and mood (at least mine) is all jovial and festive, the weather turns cooler, a time to catch up with mates after a long year hard at work, its just Merry!
A couple of things went by since i last posted, Luca's baby shower, a concert at the indoor stadium and although there ain't any plans as yet for xmas itself, i'm happy the way things has been this dec.hahah the bonus coming in is helping alot too! lol
The weather lately has been just lovely, windy n cool, it reminds me of the face-chilling, bone shuddering cold breezes of Melbourne, in fact, after catching up with Cali and Kris on monday, i am officially in a i miss melbourne mood too!
hahahha
Can u just imagine yourself at the sidewalks, underneath a toasty heater, licking off a cone of roche gelato from Il Dolce Freddo and thereafter heading across the street to Notti's for a pizza or a hot chocolate?
Or how about a movie at Cinema Nova?hhhahha gosh! I'm horny for Melbourne!
I miss everyone of my friends out there too, it was great to hang out with Kris and Cali as well as my sec sch blokes last night out at the kopitiam, if you haven't seen me for the past 2 months, its about time we've met up!hahha

A Quick Update
It's gotten quiet all over again here as i was busy last week fussing over the arrival of my Godson, Lucas, last Monday. Hee ^^ He's just super cute!!! hahah
The week went by quickly and the weekend was spent spending time over with Lucas, it was the first time i held a baby that was just days old and it was quite nerve wrecking at first as i'm worried if he would just fall off from my arms anot!
Daddy Desmond assisted Godfather in that and it went quite well till Lucas pooped in his diapers and had to get a change of his nappies.
Following that i fed Lucas his dinner (?) and it was also another first!hahaha Yay! Its just beyond words the feeling watching him drinking his milk down eagerly! I can't wait to see him get bigger and all!hahah

Godfather soon!=p
The week was spent out in the field supervising some training, not exactly the most effective way to spend your week be it in terms of work, play or wastage of time, but it did give me a good recovery from the lack of sleep that i usually subject myself to during a normal week.
The weekend was spent first thing early Sat morning at a Yoga class, pretty interesting and slightly amused that i am still rather flexible at this point, however its really too therapeutic for me and not something i'd do full on at this present time and age. The pushy ah-lian 'Member consultant supervisor' didn't really do much for me in terms of info and impressing me with her knowledge of alternative fitness and holistic methods and she pissed me off after a while.
Decided to cut the day short by skipping the massage session and shopped around for Godson's present in the afternoon till i met up with his parents at night for dinner and a get together session.
*btw, i realised i'm eatting alot of eggs lately..hmm hmmm.
Woke up early this morning and decided to blog again to retain what i've remember about this weekend. Things are work are looking busy soon but with the year end holiday period approaching and the presence of a good boss, it doesnt look that bad at the moment.=)
The last outing to the bookshop also landed me with a pictorial book which i've wanted to get lately.yay!=P
That's it for now i reckon guys, Finally WELCOME HOME NIGEL! =)

Out to the wilderness.Again.
Today's dinner marked my return to a real adult food's diet.
Since my extraction last week, i had meals which were either liquid by nature, soft foods or ingested through self induced swallowing skills.
It felt good to be able to eat real food again plus it was great to have a good and hearty meal...it still feels weird, feels like i have less teeth to chew on nowadays but i'm glad this ordeal was over.haha
Back to work and heading straight into an outfield training stint in an offshore island to the east.
I'm not exactly enthused by the whole idea of it but i reckon a job's what i've got and i've got to work for this job.
A recent cab ride induced this interesting conversation with the cabby and his theorem regarding the bosses of the land creating a whole society that's based on work ethics and a constant desire to be financially superior as a means of subduing the masses.
while he had not used the same words as i have, i felt that he isn't very far off from painting the minds and opinions of many out there in society.
It is indeed not a desired state of how one should live their lives and this is in tandem with my personal mantra that life is more then the ceaseless race for more cheese.
All i can hope for is that one day i can find a mouse whom shares this ideology.

Recovery Day 3
Since the jawrattling experience of removing all four of my wisdom teeth 3days ago, i've found time while staying at home recuperating to watch more drama on the web, chatted with my men whom orded and are living well and great out in the real world, many have found jobs and or are in the midst of regaining their pace in life.
So alls well and good for them all and i'm glad, especially excited for Leibiao whom will be heading to Bangkok again for training before the SEA Games this year end.
Just to let all the readers here know, LeiBiao, Wong, is a kickass Muay Thai exponent whom was a Scout trooper that just made everyone whom knew him proud.
I'll be cheering Team Singapore on this time round and for a good reason, there's a true blue Singaporean within the team that's worth pushing my decibels limit to the max. =)
Although the rest at home has been good, i've yet to book an appointment to remove the stitches in my gums yet, i guess it'll have to wait till Mon, one or two more days with stitches in my mouth wouldn't hurt right? I wished they had used the dissolving type of material for the stitches, but i guess that wouldn't be possible with all the costcutting everyone is trying to do in the Civil sector, would it?
I'm hoping to get the long awaited camera i've been eyeing for awhile today, as i realised this blog has been pretty barren pix-wise as i've grown really jaded of pix taking. Its weird as i used to have my camera wherever i went. With luck and boy's addiction to toys, this would invigorate my cam-whoring and pix snapping abilities.haahaa =P
In eager anticipation of tomorrow's match between Arsenal and L'Pool.

Hopefully its a better week to come
I hate the dentist.
And following yesterdays' wisdom tooth extraction, i don't think that mentality is gonna change much.
At the very least, there aint much swelling, but one side's bleeding alot more the usual and its bothering me...might need to visit the dentist again.bleah.
Oct bonus came in, hmm not as much as i expected.
Bleh.
Its the bloody taste in my mouth that's bothering me more.

Ahhhh Apologies.
I've been slacking off blogging for really too long now.
These few weeks i've been busy with preparing papers for my work and its back to the mentally stressful periods that i've endured as a student.
This time round i'm balancing it up with lotsa gym n swimming coz i really dislike the heavy headed experience i get whenever i'm bogged down with lotsa work.haha
I'm a brain-less himbo. hahhaha. =P
Besides work, i've been captivated by this taiwan drama series titled 转角遇到爱....
Its been rare that a drama series is able to captivate me as usually i don't have the patience to endure the entire serial..but the sheer humour, touching sweetness this series exudes justs kept me coming back to it every time i was free to watch if off the net.
Now that i've completed the series..its left me rather empty..hahaha but to feed off my post addiction to this drama series, i've decided to splurge out on tiks to the lead actor's soon to be in Singapore concert.kekeke q^_^p

I'm Off To Thailand AGAIN!
I'm off again, this time round for a really short short trip.
Just over the weekend, for work, travelling over 2,ooo KM north up.
In November i'll also be heading up for another trip, perhaps 5 to 10 days then.
And in January 08, a full scale training stint thats about 16plus days.
Hmmm did i ever make a wish that i'll head there so often?hmmm HMmmm
Ah well, heres to a safe, swift and succinct trip.
=)

There was a girl named Jenny.
As i sweep away the cobwebs from this musky lil corner which i've always deposited my random thoughts and ideals, i would like to tell everyone a story about a girl named Jenny.
Jenny believes in true love, the other, your better half - before self, the sacrifices she makes are unlike many of the female species i know of late.
I haven't seen Jenny for a while now, back then while i was at a lil continent far far away, this girl with the sweetest smile was a carefree soul, a lil Miss Independent perhaps, she had the world at her feet, she was pretty, she had a loving boyfriend, yet her smile was always so radiant because she loved how her life was.
Carefree, independence and above all, she had love.
The few times that she'll visit, Jenny always brings a smile to this emotionally erratic alien. She always seem so wise and theres a reason why now that i think about it. Whenever the heart was in doubt, this girl would have an answer.
Seasons came and past us by, one fine day i realised Jenny had given up what i had thought given her smile the brilliance it radiated.
Jenny was madly in love with someone she had just met and already she was ranting about spending the rest of her life with him. The wintery winds and cool spring breezes now hinted of a different scent, i couldn't believe the grin of a carefree soul was now replaced by the gentle hint of a smile of a different kind.
Ahhhh..how can i describe this? I can't.
Many moons had past without ever seeing her smile again, until lately i caught whiff of her lovely smile again. This time i had to seek, the reasons behind those smiles.
Being as wise as she was, she illuminated my thoughts as she spoke.
"I was worried i'll fall in love with someone that would be poor, so in his stead, in these few years before i had met him, i've saved the earnings that i've made. So i may get married with the man i love, even if he was penniless."
There were other gems of wisdom Jenny shared with me this time we met, some i couldn't even transcribe into words.
All i could do was be in awe of how this girl had found love and defined love in her own way and i was speechless at her selflessness.
Indeed, the greatest love of all is putting others before self.=)
It was a funny monday, one moment i couldn't find myself or relate to how love should be. The moment this girl spoke, i realised how and what love really is.
Question is, how many of us could really love like that?
It was no wonder she's the favourite girl of a man with the initials. F.G.
And all i could do is wait.....
