Another weekend, another weekend's worth of updates on my otherwise quiet blog...used to be so lively aint it? =(

Friday night, brudder jimmy celebrated his ripe old age of 27 with drinks at our fave drinking place. I'll not mention the place but its got the worst beer i ever drank on tap and it has been like this for years already!

But the highlight of the week has got to be the chalet i went to on sat (which originally i didnt really feel like going) but ended up as a really wonderful chalet/drinking session with my sec sch mates! We've not drank and had fun like this for almost ten years!!! imagine tat! =P



But i guess besides the wonderful company of 11 out of the 13 original buddies from sec.sch days, a hatchet was finally buried and the ghost of friendship gone wrong was finally exorcised.

And to top it all, WX's getting married on Oct 19th!



Now that's a weekend to remember.=)

Across the weekend i caught up with frens from Melb and London.
It was a really rushed plan to meet coz all our schedules are always so busy, but i'm really really glad we've met after such a long time.

Went Villa Bali (thanks Krissa for choosing the venue!) and hung out, chilled with Krissa and Calli over WOLF BLASS wine, cocktails and Tsing Tao Beer!hehe =P We've caught up with how each other were doing, what we've been up to, topics discussed included Calli's diving trip, Krissa's work and her plans to do charity work in Myanmar, the lack of eye candy at VB and my new found r.s amongst snippets of laughter and camera whoring.=P
The time spent with the girls made me miss Melb so much.AGAIN!

Much as i like to visit Melb again, i am torn between having to save up for Cairns towards the end of the year and zipping off to Melb this coming July... perhaps i'll see if my gal can make it for Melb during that period and take it from there. Otherwise, i guess i'll have to postpone my Melb trip! Feeeling quite drab about that though, i really would have loved to visit Melb in the winter season as well as attend Lind's and Ain's graduation if i happen to be there at the right time..too many ambitions too much expectations..=(

On another note, dragged myself out of bed early tis morning to catch Weilun for brekkie! We did the most impromptu call to Junlun and dragged him out of bed as well to head for Bah ku teh in Sin Ming. Its been awhile since i last saw WL and i am glad the three of us caught up today..kept thinking about the wonderful times we had back in Safpu and the nights of Champs league soccer, midnite snacking and laughter we had three years ago.

Busy week/month or so ahead. I'll be relocated from Mandai to Pasir Lebar Camp (near Jurong West) WEF Wednesday, its going to be a trying period.

I'm a sucker for sappy romantic Korean movies. I wonder if any of you out there are also? Although the storyline might have be predictable or rehashed from an earlier movie. The excellent soundtrack, unique Korean language that seem oh so gentle and romantic seems to be a surefire way in set those tears running. Unfortunately, this particular film i am blogging about is no longer showing at the cinemas! Just yesterday i came closest ever to reaching my ippt gold timing, just 4 seconds off the pace and i hope after tmr's test, i would have done what my CO said was "Very difficult lah". Which is to hit IPPT gold despite never having done it before in OCS.
I hope he likes to eat his words.=)

I better stay away from the lappie coz the room's been in a mess since i've been back in Spore and i think its about time i do someting constructive about it!
